Essential to the Ship's Mission is the fact that it can be
rapidly deployed from anywhere, to anywhere. This allows the
Crews to provide real time intelligence back to the Starbase 1.
In total, there will be 36 displays in use on the Bridge. From
fore to aft, they are as follows:
Helm and Operations – these are the two Forward Positions
on the Bridge. Each Station utilizes one main Display, and two
auxiliary Displays, along the side of the Station.
Command – there are three main Stations in this area. The
two outboard Positions utilize two Displays each, while the
Captain’s Position uses two small Displays, built into the ends
of each armrest.
Tactical Station – the Weapons and Security Displays are
mounted into the Console, just behind the Command Seating
Position. This Position uses three main Displays.
Rear Stations – There are five unique Stations along the
aft wall of the Bridge. Each Station utilizes two Displays, with
one additional Display at each inside ends of the row.
Auxiliary Displays – The Bridge uses auxiliary Displays
scattered throughout. Four total narrow Displays on each side of
the aft, and fore walls, two large Displays on the forward
section of the side walls, and three below the Main Viewer. This
is to display general information, such as Alert Status, and
Sensor Sweeps. These Auxiliary Stations need not be
touch-sensitive.
With the exception of the Stations along the rear walls, the
Bridge Station Displays utilize conventional sizes. Many of the
Displays are large-format, such as the rear Wall Stations; while
some are very small scale, such as those in the armrests of the
Captain’s Chair. Actual dimensions of the surface area for these
Displays are forthcoming.
Each station is User-Controlled via Touch Inputs to the UI. The
Display are Touch-Sensitive.
